There’s no pressure to perform here. Whether you're camera-shy or a full-blown ham, my job is to make sure you feel comfortable, seen, and celebrated exactly as you are.

As a lifestyle photographer my sessions are documentary-style and focused on connection. I photograph families, motherhood, couples and college seniors and create images that feel natural, warm and true to you. Whether you're celebrating a graduation, documenting your growing family or simply wanting photos that capture the heart of your everyday life, my goal is to deliver honest images you'll treasure for years.

I especially love working with women-owned, BIPOC-owned, and queer-owned businesses in spaces such as skincare, beauty, women's health, bodywork, cannabis + crafts. My branding sessions are collaborative, creative and designed to highlight what makes your brand unique. I work with clients to create professional images that connect you with your audience and elevate your visual identity.

First Up: Send me a message

Fill out my contact form or send me a quick email. We’ll find a good time to chat about your photo needs and your vision, and get to know each other to make sure we’re a good fit.

Next: Let’s get into the details

Lock in your date with an online contract + 50% of your invoice. Once it’s official, it’s time to plan it all out! If you’re getting married, we’ll start with planning your engagement photos.

After that: The big day!

The day is finally here and oh man, it’s going to be a great one! Live in all the moments, feel all the feels, melt into all the hugs. I’ll be there to document it all.

Finally: Ding Dong - your photos have arrived.

They say good things come to those who wait but I’ve never been a very patient person SO..following your wedding day you’ll receive a sneak peek of images from the day. Your final gallery will be delivered 8-12 weeks after your wedding day.

Got Questions?

Do your wedding day packages include engagement photos? +

Yes. I include an engagement session in each of my wedding packages. I think it’s so important for us to have a trial run before your wedding day to practice taking photos together and getting comfortable in front of the lens.

What kinds of photography do you offer? +

I typically photograph college seniors, couples, families, motherhood + weddings. I also enjoy working with local brands + businesses for branding and product imagery.

What do we wear? +

I’ll help you with that! All of my clients, no matter the photo type, receive a styling guide from me. I am always happy to help you decide, send your recommendations, and help you come up with color palettes all while preserving your own personal style.

Can you photoshop that? +

Not really. I remove blemishes, stray hairs, and small distractions but I don’t modify bodies, remove tattoos, change hair and add or remove people or objects. If you need that sort of work, I can refer you to someone who does extensive edits.

Do you pose us? +

Kind of. If formal portraits are important to you then yes, I will pose you and direct you in order to get the best shot. I prefer to kind of set the scene and have my subjects interact with one another so you can think of most of my posing as giving you direction + prompts to let your natural interactions shine through.

Can I book a mini-session? +

I offer mini-sessions a few times a year, seasonally (typically fall + around mothers day). Add yourself to my email list to make sure you get the announcement that these are coming.

What is a lifestyle session? +

A lifestyle session is a photo shoot where the subjects are typically doing something or interacting in some way that is natural to them. It might look like you + your partner taking a sunset dog walk and grabbing a beer or maybe it’s the pancakes your family makes + devours on the weekend. I find movement and real life so beautiful and so much more interesting than traditional portraits.

Send me a message using my contact form, or email me at info@kendalbanksphotography.com. Your date is officially reserved and your session scheduled once you review + sign a contract and make 50% payment toward your final balance.

We’re awkward in front of the camera… +

Dude…same. I immediately flip to weird-face-mode the minute I'm in front of the lens. To be honest with you - everyone is awkward in front of the camera for at least the first 5 minutes of their shoot. I’ve worked with professional models who are awkward for the entire shoot. It takes a minute to get out of your head and kind of forget about my camera but I promise I will help you every step of the way.
